With this patch: http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2007-08/msg02111.html you not only brought back the testsuite passes, you also made the bytecode compilation work again on ppc-linux and ppc-darwin (32-bit at least). Before it was not possible, since the dataflow merge revision, to compile a hello.java into a class file and execute via gij. Your speed on how to solve this issue really impressed me!
