Sorry, don't have native gcc 4.1.1 at this machine, but have i486-linux-uclibc-gcc 4.1.1 and 4.2.1. Thus attaching asm output generated by these. Generated code should be identical, I think. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33136
