i.e. "-ftree-vectorize -fvect-cost-model" is marginally faster than without -ftree-vectorize on AMD but slower on Intel; and on Intel "-ftree-vectorize" alone has a huge impact (80% slower) whereas on AMD only it is only 8% slower. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32084
