Could you try it with gfortran 4.3, available from:
http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortranBinaries
As this is fixed in 4.3 and it is neither a regression nor a wrong-code bug, I
don't think we will fix it for 4.2 due to lack of time/manpower and due to the
"regression fixes and docs only" rule of GCC.
