I have seen this problem while regetesting g++. I am not sure, but I think I have reported the problem to the gcc list without answer (couple months ago). Meanwhile I have: lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 33 Feb 3 22:30 /libgcc_s.1.dylib -> /sw/lib/gcc4/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib for my install through fink. At first I suspected my hacked fink script, but /libgcc_s.1.dylib may as well be hardcoded in the gcc sources. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32255
