What output were you expecting?
write(*,*) ishftc(aint,1)
write(*,*) ishftc(aint,1,32)
write(*,*) ishftc(aint,1,BIT_SIZE(aint))
All three of these statements are shifting the 32-bit representation of
of 1 to left and wrapping the 1 shifted bit around.
