During the build we still call (and require) a 'gnatmake' in $PATH like for (cd ada/bldtools/nmake_b; gnatmake -q xnmake ; ./xnmake -b ../../nmake.adb ) but at least gnatbind is used as specified at configure time (for building stage1).
