ISO C90 was specified. Yes, my bad, ANSI does allow whitespace before the "#"---but what of it? It's good practice anyhow to place the mark first, and the Tru64 compiler isn't exactly alone in enforcing this convention. (Is there _any_ good reason for having the whitespace?
