When I try to compile Asterisk 1.2.2 on a pretty standard Debian 3.1 Sarge
system, I get the following:

gcc -pipe -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes
-Wmissing-declaration
s -g3 -Iinclude -I../include -D_REENTRANT -D_GNU_SOURCE -O6 -march=i586
  -fomit-frame-pointer -c -o channel.o channel.c
channel.c: In function `ast_channel_bridge':
channel.c:3537: internal compiler error: Segmentatie fout
