Hmm, OK, this adds the neccesary knobs so you can trottle the parameters
even further.  Sadly this brings quite dificult to tune parameters since
reducing them considerably might easilly ruin code quality and I am
unsure how we want to proceed... (IE keep them high and change your
makefiles or try to reduce them to something more scalable)
