I am trying to compile programs on Slackware 10.2. For example when I try
compiling slmodemd-2.9.10 this appears on the screen.

/lib/modules/2.4.31/build/include/linux/reiserfs_fs_sb.h:168: internal compiler
error: Bus error.
The only thing I have changed lately is that I started with bare.i for a kernel
off of the Slackware 10.2 disc but moved to bareacpi.i by just moving it to the
/boot directory and renaming it vmlinuz. Then I moved the System.map and Config
file. I have reinstalled gcc-3.3.6 and gcc-g++ off of the Slackware 10.2 discs
but that hasn't helped.
