gcc version 3.4.4 build fails with the following type of errors :

Gcc used to build : 2.95.2
ld used : v2.16 ( Also failed with the default /usr/ccs/bin/ld with the same
error)
Confure Options : ./configure --prefix=/software/gcc/v3.4.4/sparc-sun-solaris2.7
--enable-languages=c,c++ --enable-shared
