Are you filing via the web?
If so attach the preprocessed source after you submitted the bug.
The reason for the limit is so we don't get the preprocessed source inlined and
have to copy and paste.
I see you are reporting against a 4.0.x (because of the error message). If
this is 4.0.0, please try and
use 4.0.1 and if that does not work, please report a new bug and attach the
preprocessed source after
submitting.
Also if you run into the 1M limit when attaching, please use gzip or bzip2 to
compress it and then
attach that.
