Coincides with edit version 1.2 of the above file, which changed stuff
but didn't seem to add anything.
The .log said at the time (and still does with "Sun May 1 13:03:42 UTC 2005"):
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::ios_base::failure'^M
what(): basic_filebuf::underflow incomplete character in file^M
