This is the testcase which runs without Exception in JDK but throws the UnsupportedEncodingException when compiled with GCJ. My system was WinXP with GCJ 4.0 from thisiscool.com Hope someone can verify this bug. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21068
