Variadic Templates: Exploring the Design Space by D. Gregor,J. Jarvi,G. Powell
There are several reasons for this feature, documented in the paper. Having an
experimental version of this feature in g++ would allow better implementations
of several TR1 library components, and would help flesh out impact on the
standard.
