It is OK for an Ada implementation to have capacity limits. In this case the
limits are caused by the
underlying OS, the corresponding C library functions have the same limitation.
Indeed, it would be nice
to remove this limitation by using the appropriate new C library functions on
targets where needed/
supported, but this clearly is an enhancement request.
