Just tried it out now, and it does seem to fix the problem. Unfortunately I didn't know about fno-builtin at the time, so I just moved to 3.4.3 and resolved the C++ issues. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19718
