This patch fixes the problem on hppa64. However, it causes the 32-bit HP SOM linker to crash linking libstdc++. This linker bug has been reported to HP. Once a linker patch is available from HP, the patch will be submitted if it passes testing. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19797
