I have a similar problem on AIX 5.2 with gcc 3.4.3. I did the configure with flags: --enable-threads=posix --enable-languages=c,c++ Then: make bootstrap This stopped with error: make[2]: *** No rule to make target `gsyslimits.h', needed by `stmp-fixinc'.
