I'm working on it. The error vanishes if slasy2.f is compiled with -O0, which is at least a start. An equivalent error occurs in dlasy2.f, BTW, which also goes away if dlasy2.f is compiled with -O0. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18977
