Bad news... As mentioned before, I have just removed and reinstalled Gambas3 by 
compiling it from source code. The whole process went smoothly, but 
unfortunately the problem continues. Code editor remains locked. :-(
But... I discover that running Gambas as root, everything works well... What 
could it be???
