No, this is not a bug in gb.web, it's the side effect I was talking about.
The Task standard output inherits the state of the parent's standard
output, which has "Windows" end-of-line set through gb.web.
By the way, why do you use gb.web, which is for making CGI script with no
GUI, and the FileChooser that needs a GUI?
