Benoit, I use (still) v1.17 and v2 and I use the READ and WRITE statements I have not ported to v3 yet.
When I was replying to someone's issue about READ I came across the V3 help for READ Question: is it still true that WRITE #file, s,14 will write 14 bytes and NOT write the length first just as it did in other versions.
