on ubuntu 12 grid text wraps ok, but the internal row height is wrong (QT) - see the picture enclosed - the text is cut off at top and bottom when wrapped. Interestingly on Ubuntu 9 which is my main programming computer the text dosn't wrap at all, but that dosn't matter (its my old laptop - nearly clapped out and overheating so I'll be upgrading soon).
