Being somewhat of a newbie to CP, I've never used more than 2 interfaces on our Nokia boxes (4.1 SP-6, IPSO 3.5 FCS6).
I'm interested in using the 3rd interface to preserve the existing (different) internal address scheme of a group of servers we're relocating from another facility. This is our present config: eth-s1p1 - Router / Public IPs eth-s2p1 - 192.168.x.x eth-s3p1 - (unused) I would like to replace the above eth-s3p1 with: eth-s3p1 - 172.16.x.x Now I can see how to configure the interface in Nokia Voyager, but.. How do I tell FW-1 about the new interface? Do I simply create & define the new internal network, and create a rule that allows any service, accept between the 2 networks (which is what I'd prefer)? Or is there more to it? thanks, Chris ================================================= To set vacation, Out Of Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
