Funny, here "apropos" also finds "fvwm (1)", but of course neither
"fvwm2 (1)" nor "fvwm3 (1)". But
# find . -xdev \( -name 'fvwm.1*' -o -name 'fvwm2.1*' \)

doesn't return anything. So I'll ask on the Gentoo list.
