As far as I know the connection is limited to the fact that Werner
"borrowed" some of Scientology's technology, particularly the part about
"clearing", or "becoming clear"
EST borrowed from all sorts of places
Werner has not been connected with the organisation for several years, and
in Vancouver it continues under the name Landmark, owned/controlled now, I
believe, as some form of a "co-op"
