First off - you don�t know me. You and I ended up on the same
convoluted �cc� list. However, I NEVER EVER send �spam� and I
promise to NEVER EVER blatantly misuse your name again. Forgive me
this one time. Creative endeavors call for creative measures�
I am the CEO/ Executive Producer of Bad Kitty Films (San Francisco-based
independent film production). I have just returned from Hollywood,
and Bad Kitty Films has officially partnered with Moonlight Graham
Entertainment (Brett Nemeroff�s company) to co-produce the feature film
�Leo�, starring Academy Award winner Rod Steiger and critically acclaimed
actress Jennifer Estlin. (The story - Leo Dawes (Rod Stieger), a
shy, older man and a mediocre painter, living a lackluster, quiet
existence as an uninspired art teacher in San Francisco, falls down a
flight of steps one day and regains consciousness believing he is
Leonardo da Vinci. Shortly thereafter, Leo finds himself
rediscovering the true joys of love with a young, vibrant actress named
Myrna (Jennifer Estilin), and discovers he suddenly possesses an
unbridled passion and previously undiscovered talent for painting,
drawing, introspection and debate� as well as a new-found love for life
itself.)
The five week shoot is scheduled for late September / October, and will
cover nearly two dozen locations throughout San Francisco and San Jose
areas. To complete the �package�, distribution of the completed
film has been offered by two different distribution companies, thus
enabling us to confidently put this project together with the
understanding that there is an extremely high probability of a strong
financial return / profit.
As with our last film, �Jane� (which, by the way, is nearly complete -
the final sound mix will be done as soon as �Star Wars Episode One� is
released and the facilities at Skywalker are freed up), I am simply
�putting the word out� that we are seeking investors to act as Executive
Producers for the film �Leo�, in the hopes that you might know someone
who has both the money and the interest to become involved. I am
even offering a �finder�s fee� of 1% to anyone putting me in touch
with a party who joins the venture. In the L.P.A. with �Leo�, we
are offering 4 shares at $500,000 (and can sub-divide shares in half if
necessary). (Translated - you get $5000 for anyone you
connect with me who buys a share of the film.)
