Just coincidentally, but of some odd interest, someone pointed out to
me recently that October 22nd, 1997 happens to be the date, after taking
into account things like the absence of a year 0, and the conversion
from Julian to Gregorian calendar, which is exactly the 6000th birthday
of the earth, according to Bishop Ussher's famous age of the earth
calculation. Cute, hmm?
