In most "well developed" countries the average no of children
is <2/two adults, population growth is negative in a few places.
Lots of us are aware of the coming energy shortage and that the
prevailing economic system is rather useless in doing anything
(meaningful and not just cosmetic)
about it, as its economics is totally dependent on cheap energy and
car/arm manufacture. If we make the majority of people aware, than we
can do something about it. Throwing our arms up in disgust is not
much help.
