Oooh, I had one of those once. "absolutely no cameras or
recording devices were allowed on the premises". So I pointed out that my 
pencil, in conjunction with a piece of paper, was a recording device, and 
I insisted on getting a signed piece of paper exempting that from their 
regulation. I pointed out that a verbal assurance would cut no ice if I 
were to find myself being proscuted for breaking the regulation that they 
had drawn my attention to.

I mean, rules are rules.

They were very nice about it.
