The icons are set in the base skin and can be overridden by each skin. As for user defined icons you can do this by replacing the images in the /usr/share/freevo directories. Another way is to take a skin and rename it then it should use the icons for that new skin. The advantage of this approach is that the images are not overwritten during the next install.
