My installation is :
Ubuntu Gutsy without desktop
Xorg installed and configured
First install of freevo 1.6.3 long time ago via deb package (install all
dependencies)
Upgrade made by installtion of Source (1.7.6, 1.7.8 and 1.7.9), but I
don't remenber when recordserver stop working
I have made the house keeping as asked by Duncan here
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg17888.html
After this the only freevo directories are those one :
/var/log/freevo
/var/cache/freevo
/var/cache/freevo/vfs/var/log/freevo
/var/cache/freevo/vfs/usr/share/freevo
/etc/freevo
Then I reinstall freevo 1.7.9 (sudo python setup.py install), everything
seem to works fine then I launch recordserver and freevo
sudo freevo recordserver start
sudo freevo -fs
Freevo start correctly on my TV screen, but recordserver is unavailable
(can see it in watch TV menu) and the error log above start appear and
is repeated every 30 seconds
Everything else work fine
One more information, when I make a "ps aux" I've got all the freevo
process :
22:50 0:01 python
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freevo/helpers/recordserver.py
22:50 0:00 xinit /usr/bin/freevo --force-fs -- :0
22:50 0:01 X :0
22:50 0:00 /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/freevo --force-fs
22:50 0:05 python /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freevo/main.py
--force-fs
Is it normal ?
Thanks
Yoann
