Hi,
thanks for the info, it was very helpful. I think I'll stick to the 
creating of fxd file.
Obviously my problem was that fxd file was put in VIDEO_ITEMS and parsed 
at startup.
With adding asx extension to mplayer I cannot see the different entries 
titles, which I can see if I use a fxd file.
