I used a live cd with FreeBsd/Freesbie v. 2.0.1. You can downlod it fro the
site ftp://ftp.freesbie.org/pub/Freesbie/2.0.1-RELEASE/ It works on some Pc's,
not on others, I don't know why, try. I will try your compilation, good luck!
Bye,
Emilio

Oggetto: using FreeSBIE build scripts to build a FreeBSD + GNOME live cd

Hi FreeSBIEers.

Some time ago, I was looking for a FreeBSD + GNOME live cd, but did not
find any. [*] I decided to try to use the FreeSBIE scripts and build my
own live cd with FreeBSD 7.0(-BETA2) and GNOME 2.20.. The result can be
found here:

  http://gavare.se/freebsd-gnome-live-cd/

Maybe the modifications I made to the normal FreeSBIE scripts are not
clean enough to be incorporated back into FreeSBIE itself, but I am
posting this anyway. Perhaps someone finds it useful.

Anders

[*] Most FreeBSD live cds seem to use other desktop environments.
