Hey Kevin, I have an idea. Did you compile FreeIPMI against one version of libgcrypt, but are running on a machine w/ a different version of libgcrypt??
I find it hard to believe that the difference between two versions could cause this problem, I think it's possible (given the way I'm reading how the call to 'gcry_check_version' works). I'll have to think about how I can return a better error message if this is what's happening.
