I filed it: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1163023 (very summarily, if you require me to fill in more information I will be happy to do it; I added a link to this thread on the mailing list archive). In the meantime until the fix hits the repositories I have excluded certmonger from yum update and in an upgraded centos 6.6 32bit host certmonger keeps working.
