Hi, this would not be sufficient. With careful manual configuration in multiple configuration files you might be able to get some features working. But this would still be fragile and the majority of the features still won't work. The way forward is to create a new DNS domain/Kerberos realm for the IPA domain and setup a new IPA instance.
