sssctl should show all the IPA servers which can be found with a DNS

host -t SRV _ldap._tcp.your.ipa.domain
show more servers than the sssctl output? If yes, can you show some
examples?
Wow. All except one SRV record for one master is missing.
DNS has been updated and corrected. Now I see this:
Active servers:
IPA: q9cbeaidma01.idm.derp.tld
Discovered IPA servers:
- q9cbeaidmc01.idm.derp.tld
- q9cbeaidma01.idm.derp.tld
- q9cbewidmc01.idm.derp.tld
- q9cbewidma01.idm.derp.tld
- q9cbeaidmc01.idm.derp.tld
Why is one listed twice? Is that normal?
Hi,
yes, by default ipa-client-install will add the fqdn of one IPA server
explicitly and the '_svr_' option to the 'ipa_server' option. If the
explicitly mentioned server is part of the SRV reply it will be listed
twice.
HTH

Sumit
