i got watt32 going now but it dose not work! i dont know exactly where
in the watt32 library it is messing up, but it is messing up for me on
dhcp discover!
if you want to test this feature then get the testhttp.exe file from the
git repo
https://github.com/sparky4/fdnpkg16
https://gitlab.com/sparky4/fdnpkg16
i need some help guys with watt32!
so i can integrate a more robust way to download content
I am really close to getting this going guys i just need help with
watt32's dhcp discover.
i included in the repo a prepwatt.bat and compwatt.bat
(USE THIS IN DOSBOX or so TO COMPILE WATT32) (i cannot get it to compile
on linux their stuff is messy)
they prepare the watt32 for compilation and my various compilation
fixes are patched in please look around!
then u do a wmake -f watcom_L.mak
then when it finishes
run ./build.sh to build fdnpkg16 and the test program
I am glad it mostly works rn (with mtcp)
just watt32 is not working out for me
the dhcp code has a problem with watcom or something because it
freezes/gets stuck at dhcp discover

Ran myself a kvm instance through virt-manager. intel 480, 2mb ram,
512mb disk, realtech nic. Freedos v1.2
had to make sure the mtcp dhcp was in the path environment variables,
and I had to make sure wattcp was installed, but I did get it to run.
What worked -
* clearcache
* license
* dumpcfg
* listlocal
* listfiles
What I did bump into was that I kept getting 'Repository download failed!'
so things like search and updates did not work
and just to be sure, I did run the original fdnpkg search and was able
to find the package. For example 'vim'
Great job by developing this project though! If there's any further
changes, I'll give it another try.

New version launched!
i got this to finally work like fdnpkg but with mtcp's htget instead.
i crushed the bug with a work around. my tests show that it works. it
needs further testing
http://4ch.mooo.com/4/fdos/fdnpkg16.zip
get this package and install with fdinst install fdnpkg16
