And that brings to mind DESQview
DESQview is a very complex environment, and it depends on the presence of the QEMM386 memory manager for it to run usefully in 386 mode.
I have tried but I've not got QEMM386 to run successfully on the bare metal of any modern PC, going back to early Core 2 Duo kit.
As such, it's not an option right now. -- Liam Proven ~ Profile: https://about.me/liamproven <https://about.me/liamproven> Email: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ~ gMail/gTalk/FB: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Twitter/LinkedIn: lproven ~ Skype: liamproven IoM: (+44) 7624 227612: UK: (+44) 7939-087884 Czech [+ WhatsApp/Telegram/Signal]: (+420) 702-829-053 _______________________________________________ Freedos-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-devel
