Is the CHKDSK.COM that is included with FreeDOS 1.3 restricted to only
checking block devices that use 512 byte sectors?
I have a RAM disk device driver that works with FreeDOS and PC-DOS when it
is compiled with 64 byte, 128 byte, 256 byte, and 512 byte sectors. (By
works I mean it is readable and writable, as expected.) PC-DOS chkdsk is
fine with the smaller sector sizes, but FreeDOS chkdsk ("ChkDsk beta
0.9.2") gives "Cannot access D:" if I try to use it against the RAM disk
with anything other than a 512 byte sector size.
