If I had: '-M q35' to qemu to enable a SATA only machine, when booting in live
mode 1.3-rc3:
UDVD2: Nothing to use; UDVD2 not loaded.
I hope UDVD return an error code we could use to give a more meaninful message
like:
Your computer is running in SATA only mode, so I cannot access the CD-ROM.
You might try to see if your BIOS support Legacy IDE mode.
My newer BIOS does not have this compatibility option anymore, sadly.
I see: https://sourceforge.net/p/freedos/bugs/266/?limit=25 (about this)... oh
we do have bugs list, I should maybe use it more!
If I boot with a normal PC to do the fdisk, then reboot in SATA only mode and
select install, installation will go until:
"Unable to locate the installation packages.
A reboot may help."
Maybe where "A reboot may help" should be replaced by: "Reboot, and try to
enable Legacy IDE mode in your BIOS before trying again."
