I have put out a new release of FreeDOS packages for the gcc-ia16
toolchain, at
https://github.com/tkchia/build-ia16/releases/tag/20190224 .
Are you sure you set the prefix correctly? It seems to not find crtbegin.o
(etc). But maybe I'm doing something wrong (probably).
Argh! The fault is mine --- I tweaked the Newlib build process to
output the wrong absolute paths into the linker scripts.
I have fixed the problem now (and learnt about a useful GNU linker
feature in the process). I have uploaded the corrected Newlib package
at the same URL above.
