AFAIK, the latest stable is old 0.84-pre2 XMS_Swap from 2006 or so. There is no active maintainer. The Software List says "0.84pre2" and still lists as maintainer Blair Campbell (who's long been missing). http://freedos.sourceforge.net/software/?prog=command >> is it http://sourceforge.net/p/freedos/svn/HEAD/tree/freecom/trunk/ ? >> >> I remember that Bart ported command.com 'mostly' to WATCOM; is the >> port now finished, and working great? > > Yes this is the most recent version that is publicly know (not that there > any private branches I am aware of), but I do not recall if all the watcom > work is in it. My understanding is there are some stability issues. Not that I really know or am in contact with him, but (AFAIK) Bart has been too busy with other issues to worry with it in recent years. "Some stability issues" might be an understatement since he never finished his port, and it doesn't really work yet at all. But that's just my limited understanding.
