I don't think it is. I haven't seen or heard from that guy (Brian
Reifsnyder) in a few years. Somebody could send him a quick message,
but I don't think it's crucial enough at this late time. (Sorry for
being so pessimistic.)

Probably easier to just recompile (TurboC?).

I'm pretty sure it indeed can be controlled semi-automatically like
this, but I never heavily used it like that, so I don't know the
details offhand. This kind of thing is obviously a bit dicey, so you
have to be careful! (Then again, I hate to say it, but anyone trying
to install DOS better know exactly what they are doing anyways.)

P.S. Technically, FreeDOS usually came with three FDISKs: FD FDISK,
XFDisk, SPFdisk. (AFAIK, they're all abandoned.) The second one was
written in Turbo Pascal (although I doubt it would compile easily, if
at all, under recent FPC 3.0.0 16-bit target). I did recently grab a
few SPFdisk copies (latest?) from some website but haven't looked
closely yet. Obviously there are some translations for that (separate
binaries), but I don't know what languages (Chinese? Which??).

P.P.S. Sorry if this wasn't more helpful info. And sorry to Jim (who
hates "P.S."). ;-)
