Hi all,

It has been a few years now that HIMEMX was abandoned. There were a few
very valuable community patches floating around though, sadly never
really applied to any "official" release.

In an attempt to make things a little less messy, I created a
sourceforge project for HIMEMX, here:

http://himemx.sourceforge.net/

There is a SVN where I recreated the evolution of the HIMEMX code base
since the last "official" version (ie. v3.32), that is Ninho's JMP+2
patch and Rod Pemberton's E820 implementation. For every patch, I
published a binary release (hence currently we have there v3.32, v3.33
and v3.34)

I also cleaned up the code formatting, because it was quite ugly to look
at (mostly because some contribtions were using TAB indentations, others
8-spaces indentations, and others 4-spaces indentations). Finally, I
also removed the "TESTMEM" switch, because it was a no-op switch that
never got any code behind, making it highly confusing for users.

Now, I am not an ASM programmer, so I won't be able to work on HIMEMX
development - but should any new patches pop out, at least now we will
have a central point where to collect them and potentially release new
community-powered versions (and I will be happy to help with my very
limited skills to do that - also Jim and Eric kindly agreed to follow on
this, should there be any need).

Mateusz
