Plus it is unlikely to work: Several years of ICQ
protocol changes since the last LSICQ update. But
I would like to know what will be removed before
it actually gets removed, in case people want to
make mirrors elsewhere of useful closed freeware.

And: I agree that a Basic program which duplicates
functionality of a program already in the distro,
which uses more common programming languages, does
not sound like an exciting addition to the distro.

Password obfuscation is not what lock/screensaver
tools should rely on either. Use a proven hashing.

A tool to mount secure drive images, even if it is
written in a less popular language, would clearly
qualify for inclusion or at least mirroring :-)
