I've not kept up with following OpenWatcom's latest development, but
they are apparently still working hard behind the scenes.

But no, I don't expect C++11 for DOS any time soon. There's just not
enough interested and skilled volunteers. ("Just use C! Just use
Linux! Just find another hobby!")
